this last week has been.... well, rather "..." if ya know what i mean.
yeah, i don't either. but oh well.
kinda up/down. but mostly down.
i am really and truly sick of all the drama that people think is necessary. i promise, folks, it's not. you will do nothing but alienate yourselves.
on the plus side, i'm really learning who my real friends are.
those who spread rumors... yeah, not so good ones.
those who stick up for me, and who know the truth? pretty much you guys are golden.
i appreciate those of you who are really ones i can trust. you're proving yourselves to be worth your weight in gold. THANK YOU.
BLUE RIDGE PROM:
was really fun! i LOVED seeing Alaska and Me again.
THRILLED was actually the word that came to mind.
and my dress was basically amazing.
also,
i now have bangs.
and a significant other.
life.is.good.
Do you remember when we were vampires? Do you remember when we ran through the streets at night, our heads back, laughing and screaming, so alive it felt like we owned the world? Do you remember? Do you remember me?

the prom chronicles
prom prom prom!!!
was amazing.
i absoutely loved it.

^that's me and danny boy. my date. he's wonderful.^
we had the coolest, most spontaneous day date ever. we did pretty much everything... [except eat smiley face pancakes]
group pics will be up... when i get em.
everyone tried to tell me that the anticipation was better than the actual thing...
an absoute lie. everything about prom was awesome.
lol.
more news...
i have the coolest mom ever. check this out:

wonderful, eh? i love her.
it was an 80's party, and she let me dress her up... everything she is wearing is stuff i wear to school. she got a kick out of it... also won the 'best dressed' award.
then again, of course she did... she's my mom.
so, blue ridge's prom is next weekend, so expect an update there too... and we'll just have to see what the next week brings!!
you know you love me,
cass

~~A MOMENT OF VENTING~~
i HATE HATE HATE it when you're on a date with someone, and they just sit there and text the whole time. i seriously, seriously hate it. so if you're planning on taking me on a date anytime soon, probably DON'T do that.
just saying.
~~END VENTING~~
so, what's new with everyone else?
hit me up!!
you know you love me,

over a week.
sometimes life just throws you a curveball, ya know?
you think you understand how things are, you think you've got it all figured out, then all of the sudden, everything you think you know just flies out the window.
i don't even know what i thought i knew, but i guess i didn't.
anyways, life is kinda sucking at the moment.
i quit the musical. it was just gonna be too much time and effort into a role i'm just really not that into.
i thought i had a relationship.
but that pretty much is on hold. [for quite a while.]
and i'm okay with that.
i just want to play the field for a little while... get my head on straight, ya know?
[or i could totally jump into a long-term commitment with this cutie cutie cutie from sem. *insert me melting here. like, imagine me as a popsicle on the fourth of july.*
i just want some fun.
which kinda sucks, since it's valentines day.
but i bought myself a present, so suck it couples. lol.
anyways, yeah. i'm doing better now.
i got my hair cut...
think victoria beckham.
[now if i could just get my hands on david...]
and here's the song of the week... it's by julie london.
Love is like a never-ending melody;
Poets have compared it to a symphony,
A symphony conducted by the lighting of the moon -
But our song of love is slightly out of tune.
Once your kisses raised me to a fever pitch;
Now the orchestration doesn't seem so rich.
Seems to me you've changed the tune we used to sing;
Like the bossa nova, love should swing.
We used to harmonize, two souls in perfect time;
Now the song is diff'rent and the words don't even rhyme,
'Cause you forgot the melody our hearts would always croon,
And so what good's a heart that's slightly out of tune?
Tune your heart to me the way it used to be;
Join with me in harmony and sing a song of loving.
We're bound to get in tune again before too long -
There'll be no desafinado
When your heart belongs to me completely,
So you won't be slightly out of tune,
You'll sing along with me.

acadec :]
so, acadec pretty much rocked face.
for being the person "who was gonna hold the team down" i had the second highest scores on the team.
pardon me, but
SUCK IT. oh.
i also medaled in art [what the... i know.] and i got a silver medal in essay.
two years in a row... who rocks?
it was especially nice, because the essay medal was presented to my by my sophomore english teacher.
who gave me a C and said i wasn't too promising in writing.
karma is sometimes my best friend.
not always, but sometimes.
in other news, i'm kinda stupid.
i know... it's not news. but still.
but ya know... somehow i don't feel dumb. i feel like i'm falling into place, ya know? like things are gonna be okay now that i've got things worked out in my head.
i mean, they're not completely worked out, but i still have a better grasp on my own emotions. i feel better about life.
i'm not proud of hurting other people, but...
miss abel is right.
"it's like you two can't breathe right if you're not touching."
how am i supposed to feel guilty over something i've put my whole soul in to?
